We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care with compassion. You will assist the dentist, support the hygiene department and the administrative department, and comply with all sterilization and infection control protocol. Minimum skills include: dedication, efficiency, attention to detail, clear communication, organization, and a genuine willingness to learn and grow. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant and is trained in Expanded Functions. Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
- Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
- Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
- Set up, break down, and sterilize operatories and instruments
- Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
- Make impressions (digital and analog), make temporary crowns, provide pre- and post-operative instructions, take radiographs
- Schedule appointments, explain treatment plans
- Track lab cases and manage inventory
- Support clinical and administrative team members
- Assist with managing inventory
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Minimum of 2 years chairside experience
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Efficient and organized
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
